The Burk is Whiskey Grain’s original minimalist cardholder-designed to carry the essentials without unnecessary bulk.
Handcrafted from premium full-grain Italian leather, each Burk is individually cut, saddle stitched, and burnished by hand at the Whiskey Grain bench.
Its compact design is made for everyday carry, while the leather is meant to change with you. Over time, it will soften, darken, and develop a one-of-a-kind patina shaped by how you carry it.
No two will age the same.

Whiskey gets its character from the grain in the mash — the raw material that decides what it'll become. Leather gets its character from the grain in the hide — the top layer that decides how it ages. We named the shop after both, because we only work with the real thing: full-grain hides, cut and stitched by hand in Fort Wayne, Indiana, then finished the color of a well-aged pour.

Hides are picked by hand for grain, thickness, and how they'll age.
Cut
Pattern is laid and cut by blade — never a machine press.
Stitch
Saddle-stitched by hand, two needles, one waxed thread.
Finish
Edges burnished, leather conditioned, and given a final check before it ships.
