Whiskey gets its character from the grain in the mash — the raw material that decides what it'll become. Leather gets its character from the grain in the hide — the top layer that decides how it ages. We named the shop after both, because we only work with the real thing: full-grain hides, cut and stitched by hand in Fort Wayne, Indiana, then finished the color of a well-aged pour.
